Accommodation

If you are contacted by an illegitimate accommodation and travel agent for this event, such as Business Travel Management (BTM), please do not provide your personal or payment details. These organisations are not endorsed or authorised by the conference organisers.

The ANZSGM 2027 Conference Organisers, ASN Events, and our partner hotels will never send emails or place telephone calls to individuals to secure personal information or accommodation bookings.

If you receive emails or telephone calls regarding ANZSGM 2027 accommodation, please disregard them and do not engage with the sender. Our partner hotels will not contact you to request credit card information relating to your reservation by telephone or email.

If you have been contacted by a company about booking hotel rooms for ANZSGM 2027, or believe you may have provided information to a scam company, we recommend that you:

1. Contact your credit card provider immediately if you have shared your card details. Alert them to the suspected scam and query any relevant charges.
2. Change your online passwords and PINs to prevent the company from making further charges.
3. Continue monitoring your account and follow any additional instructions provided by your credit card company.
4. Book your accommodation only through the official links provided on the ANZSGM 2027 conference website.

The Conference Organisers, including the Conference Committee and ASN Events, accept no liability if the conference is cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond their reasonable control, including an act of God, governmental regulation, fire, war, terrorist activity or civil commotion.

If the Conference Organisers elect to reschedule the conference, all registrations and additional items will automatically be transferred to the new conference dates.

If the Conference Organisers elect to cancel the conference, liability will be limited to a refund of registration costs, subject to applicable fees and conditions. The conference will not refund travel expenses associated with the cancellation.

Accommodation prepayments will be refunded subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant hotel.

Accommodation booked as part of the conference registration process may be cancelled without penalty when the cancellation request is received more than 35 days before the first date of your hotel booking.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to ASN Events. In some circumstances, accommodation providers may allow changes or cancellations within the 35-day period.

ASN Events will manage this process on your behalf and advise you of the accommodation provider’s decision. Please be aware that approval cannot be guaranteed and you may be required to pay a cancellation fee.
