Dr Wendy Longley

Dr Wendy Longley is a Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist working at the Uniting War Memorial Hospital, and also at the NCAT-Guardianship Division as a Senior Member. She was the Enduring Guardian for her late husband (who lived with a severe burns injury), and her late mother and father (who both developed dementia), making medical consent and end-of-life decisions for them all. She is keen to help Geriatric Advanced Trainees understand the principles and processes involved in conducting decision-making assessments, what substitute decision-making options are available, and how the Guardianship Division works, so that they can keep their patients safe and well.
